one month

Today Canaan is a month old. How fast that month went. What a joy he has been! I am loving every moment, even in the middle of the night when I want to keep sleeping. He is getting up around every 4 hours to eat, so really I can't complain it could be worse. It has been interesting adjusting to having him home. Just this past week he has really perked up and been looking around more, and he is getting good head control. It's fun watching him.

We have been blessed with a wonderful church family that has provided meals for us the past month. I'm so thankful for that time away from cooking and I'm so not ready to start cooking again LOL. I asked Josh before I stopped working "what is one thing you want to have done when you get home?" I would think that he would have said have the house picked up, but he didn't all he said was "I want one crock pot meal a week!" Really I think I can do that, so now i'm researching crock pot meals!
