4 months

Our little boy is 4 months. What a joy he has been. He is starting to babble more and won't stop smiling! We are so in LOVE!

ice and more ice

Last week we had a really bad ice storm. On Wednesday morning around 2 we lost power so we had to spend the night at dad and mom's and I had to stay there during the day for 2 days. So I ended up getting my fridge cleaned and everything back in it! I just want my normal routine back.

Friday we got a call from Josh's mom saying that his grandma was not doing well. The doctor was giving her a couple hours to days. Josh was on his way home and got a call saying that she had passed. Sad that she is gone, but rejoicing that she is in heaven with our Lord and with Calvin. What a joy that we will meet them again one day. We love you grandma branch!

rolling over

This is how I found Canaan the other day. When I walked away he was on his stomach, when I came back this is what I saw. I was really sad that I missed the first time he rolled over. People told me that it doesn't count until you see it-so I'm going with that! Well...last night I put him on his stomach and not long after I saw it! There was a lot of cheering going on here. Then he did it a second time. I can't wait to be able to get it on video.

Toy Story on Ice

Saturday we went to the Q and saw Toy Story on Ice with the whole family. Canaan had a great time! He loved watching it. Then he ate and fell asleep for the last half of the show, but what do you expect from a 3 1/2 month old?...

Our little man is growing...

* He loves to smile! Whenever you say "where are my smiles?" you get a huge smile that melts
your heart.
* sleeping in his own room ALL night long!
* loves his music 24/7.
* has good head control
* sits in his bumbo seat
* loves to look at everything!
